Municipal Gym is one of the best facilities for basketball in the City of San Diego. Muni Gym offers 3 Full size basketball courts and is in fine condition. Muni Gym has a very rich history of basketball and is known for its high caliber play.

Built for the 1935 Exposition as the “Palace of Electricity and Varied Industries” the architecture reflects a close relationship between ancient Maya and 20th Century ornamentation and its progression. During WW II the gym was used by the Navy. It was renovated in 1947.
